TetriTime is based on the puzzle video game Tetris. The TetriTime environment is a physical interpretation of the digital game. The Tetris blocks are 3D printed and attached magnetically to the metal background. A clock hand pointer  equipped with a Spark Core microcontroller detects the color of the Tetris block and adds an event to Google calendar, using the color of the block to determine the event’s title (i.e. scanning a red block adds a meeting event to the calendar). Another Spark Core microcontroller displays the time and date on the LCD screen. When one of the event’s you’ve scheduled occurs, the background color of the LCD screen glows the  color the block (i.e. when a meeting starts, the screen glows red).

TetriTime was designed as a prototype in a series of toyls (toy/tools) developed to more work tasks more playful.[/vc_column_text][diagram type=”circle” title=”skills utilized”][skill title=”creative coding” amount=”40″ color=”#ffff00″] [skill title=”electronics” amount=”40″ color=”#ff9933″] [skill title=”making/diy” amount=”20″ color=”#ff6633″][/diagram]
