Creative Philosophy

I consider communication an art and have been known to refer to myself as a communications artist.

I like to keep my imagination on the move.

I grew up on storytelling, and you’ll find stories at the core of nearly everything I do.

I’m interested in the creative process and facilitating a creative flow with those around me.

I believe in the power of story and the art of explanation.

Everyone offers a new perspective.

I’m all about the “Ish” – “thinking ‘ish-ly’ is far more wonderful than ‘getting it right'”

Design is an iterative process.

I’ve been exploring the concept of wabi-sabi – the aesthetic beauty of the imperfect or incomplete.

The glass is half-full. If it’s not, maybe you need to redesign the glass.
